To show our appreciation to the six ladies in Kober who always ready to help us in gathering data and executing our distribution. We gave each of them:

  • One t-shirts
  • One shawl
  • 7 kg of raw rice
  • 1 bottle of syrup
  • 1 package of sugar
  • 1 package of cooking oil

School stationery distribution

Our school stationery distribution was executed on 2 July 2011. This activity was resulted from several weeks of planning and coordination. From searching the vendors who would give us the best prices, the logistics of delivering the school stationery, wrapping the school stationeries into individual packages, and the distribution itself. Our special thanks to Kechara Indonesia volunteers:

  • Yudhono Rawiswho have been helping us in sourcing for the best vendors and actually delivering the stationery to our doorstep and picked up the stationery again after wrapping to the distribution site and coordinating a large number and a much needed volunteers during the distribution day
  • Nike Permatasari, Riki, and Nizar Winarsin Taswinwho have been helping the wrapping of the stationery packages for two days in a row
  • Erick Lysander and Anung Waskitowho were ever ready with their laptops to sort out the candidates who were to receive the school stationeries
  • All other volunteerswho attended the distribution on that day and contributed to the success of activities in significant ways: from guarding the stationeries, yelling the name of the recipients, and actually delivering the stationeries to the recipients

We ended up distributing 176 school stationery packages. Each child, from primary schools to high school that have been registered obtained one stationery packages containing the following items: Continue reading…
